Erling Haaland's second-half penalty allowed Manchester City to overcome tenacious Crystal Palace and win 1-0 at Selhurst Park on Saturday in the Premier League.

After 27 games, the victory boosted City to 61 points, 12 points ahead of third-place Manchester United and two points behind leaders Arsenal, who play Fulham on Sunday.
